Welcome 2010!

I am not completely lost, just busy - so what is new about that?! :-)
We had a great Christmas with family here, then we went skiing with friends to Austria, for the very first time for all of us. The boys were great at it, after just one day on the slopes they were skiing like demons, little princess tried hard and behaved wonderfully even without her usual 2-3 hour nap after lunch, and Dad and I... well, we did have our ups and downs, but we didn't lose our courage and will return next year too. So it was a success after all!
School and work started on the 4th of January - well, not for us, we only returned home on that day...-, so everything is back to normal by now. I even managed to do some sewing over the weekend. The boys had problems with where to put their mp3/mp4 players on our way to the ski resort, so I made them a case each for their players to hang around their necks. My very first finishes for 2010!

The fishing fabric is still from my Aussie stash, but this was the last piece, and I had to work very carefully to stretch it so that it covered both cases, as both boys wanted this fabric, they both love fishing!

Nem vesztem el, csak elfoglalt vagyok, de ebben nincs semmi új :-) A karácsony remek volt, a rokonság itt töltötte nálunk, aztán elmentünk életünkben először síelni a barátainkkal, Ausztriába. A fiúk gyorsan belejöttek, a kisasszony erősen próbálkozott és igen dicséretre méltóan viselkedett még a szokásos ebéd utáni 2-4 órás szundikálása nélkül is, mi pedig a párommal... hát nekünk voltak hullámvölgyeink, és hegyeink is persze, mindenesetre nem vesztettük el a bátorságunkat és megyünk máskor is szerintem. Mostanra az élet visszaállt a szokásos menetrendbe, és már varrnom is sikerült. A fiúknak kifelé állandó gondot okozott, hova csúszott be az mp3/mp4 lejátszójuk, így most varrtam nekik egy-egy nyakba akasztható tartót. Persze nagy ho-ho-ho-horgászként mindketten ezt a horgászós anyagot akarták, még az ausztráliai készletből, de sikerült kihoznom belőle mindkét tartót.
