Bloggers Quilt Festival

Here is my entry to the 4th Bloggers Quilt Festival over at Amy's. This is the 4th year that I am participating in this Festival, and I enjoyed the first, second and third show enormously. This year due to some technical difficulties I will not be able to connect to the Internet for 4 days of the Festival, so I will have to visit the blogs later on, but I definately will visit as many of them as I can!

I made this quilt using my very first (and only) jelly roll and charm pack, which I received as a present for my 40th birthday from my Mum. It was lovely to work with these gorgeous fabrics! I planned to stipple quilt it, but it just did not work for me, so I decided to hand quilt it in the ditch instead. At least I was already enjoying my new quilt while still working on it!

I pieced the back too, beacuse I love pieced backs which can be seen all around the blogging world.

It is lovely and cosy to sit under it in the evenings while watching my favourite shows and sewing something new! :-)

This is a wonderful quilt - I have to say that making something out of fabric someone bought for you is lovely isn't it? I love the autumnal colours in this quilt and the simple squares.

Csodálatos ez a takaró! Mennyi munka lehetett vele. :)))))
